NDT as you will all know means Non Destructive Testing.

I have not been involved with many robot applications is this area and to my knowledge the only examples have been in the aerospace industry using Ultrasonic techniques to search for delaminations in composite panels.

The robot following a pre-determined path at constant velocity over the entirety of the panel and the output from the sensor being monitored and plotted to accurately pinpoint any areas of delamination and to enable repairs to be carried out accurately and with a minimum of invasive damage.
